Aaron is the I2R senior electrician. Aarons experience in the field and his ability to get the job done right first time, every time is second to none. He has an innate ability to work closely with the customer to understand their requirements and then execute the project with minimal interruption to production. His attention to detail and speed of execution makes him a highly sought-after professional in the region. Aaron is the glue that keeps the business together, providing the circuit breaker that all good businesses need.
Adam Twigg joined our team as a 4th year apprentice in July 2019. Adam brings with him high level experience in the Industrial Electrical and Control Systems field. Adam sets a good standard of work ethic and enthusiasm for all other team members. He is always keen to learn new things as well as teach other team members, he is an all-round team player and a valuable asset to I2R.
Further developing the future for I2R, Alanna Farronato has joined the team to assist in the admin side of the business. As a trainee, Alanna brings a new dynamic to the team that just makes the day to day operations run smoothly. Alanna has experience in various retail industries and it is this perspective that ensure our customers are front of mind at all times. Alanna’s bubbly personality and interpersonal skills, bring a brightness to the office that makes the work seem a little bit easier.
Anthony Iannelli, joined the I2R community as an apprentice and really shown what hard work can achieve. Anthony is dedicated to working hard and taking the time to learning from the ground up. I2R is committed to bringing apprentices through the system as we strive to develop a long-term sustainable business and automation industries in the Riverina. Anthony is most at home out in the field making upgrades to our customers facilities, learning the best way to make the biggest impact on the customers operation. Based in Leeton, Anthony will help grow the I2R business in that region.
Ben manages our board building team, which includes workshop, design and drafting staff. Ben has been designing boards for the past ten years and is fully competent in regulatory requirements and industry standards. Whether it is a cubic board or a custom-built design, Ben and his team can design, procure and manufacture a board that meets your requirements at a cost competitive price. Ben and his dedicated team of board builders specialise in control boards and are capable of building MCC boards and full factory fit-outs.
Ben Quarisa comes to I2R after extensive experience on high speed bottling lines and automation projects in local wineries. Ben is looking to develop his skill set even further with the exposure I2R offers to industries outside the local wineries. The strength Ben brings to the team is his amazing work ethic and his attention to detail. All this coupled with a logical problem solving process, he is perfectly suited to the Service role he is currently filling. Over time Ben will get more exposure to PLC programming and comms installations that will round him out as a key player in the I2R Community.
Ben joined the I2R team in January 2020 as a mature age Apprentice and has really shown what hard work can achieve. Ben is dedicated to his work and taking time to learn from his fellow peers. Ben has joined the Switchboard Manufacturing team; he is most at home in the workshop and plays a big part in the workshop team where he has proven to be a dynamic learner and mechanically minded.
David came to I2R after the company decided to expand its footprint into the neighboring town of Leeton, he has extensive experience on the installation, commissioning and maintenance of electrical control systems across a diverse range of food manufacturing equipment and high-speed packaging lines. David also has experience with automation installs and upgrades having been involved in the whole process from the planning stage, right through the install, commissioning and follow up support.
David has one of the broadest base of experience in the business. Managing our service team, he has both excellent technical skills and team management skills coupled with a strong project management toolbox. David has had exposure to all types of industry from abattoirs to irrigation networks, food production factories and wineries. I2R understands that all operations are unique and different maintenance strategies are deployed depending on the philosophy of the organisation. Keeping this in mind, along with the rest of the service team, David is able to provide immediate response to breakdowns, preventative maintenance programs or a service level agreement that aligns with the customers maintenance strategy.
Dean manages our Design & Drafting team. Dean came to I2R after extensive experience in Switchboard/Control System Design and drafting in the Food and Beverage Industry. Dean has been designing switchboards for the past 11 years and is fully competent in regulatory requirements and industry standards. Whether it is a cubic board or a custom-built design. Dean and his dedicated team of drafts people specialize in all forms of Power Switchboards and Motor Control Centers, Mechanical / Process and 3D drawings.
Donavan is a dynamic business leader, with a determination to deliver value to our customers. I2R has seen rapid growth over recent years a result of Donavan’s vision and passion for the business. By working closely with business partners, he is able to take broad view of the opportunity and provide a solution that takes into account all aspects of the operation. Donavan’s main skill set is in Project Management and Factory Automation, with the ultimate aim to solve the customers problems or constraints and exploit opportunities for greater efficiency that exist in every organisation.
Ian commenced work with I2R Group as a labourer and quickly decided he’d like to complete a trade. He was raised in a farming family and has always been interested in learning new things and expanding his knowledge. Ian commenced a mature age apprenticeship and is in the process of completing his Certificate III in Electro Technology through NSW TAFE where he received the award as the best second year student in his course. His great work ethic and attention to detail resulted in his appointment to the position of foreman in our panels and switchboard production facility. He is very focused on the task at hand and making a difference and has become an integral member of our team. Moving forward, Ian is keen to get more involved in the design aspect of control panels and switchboards.
Jake has proven a dynamic learner, and developed into one of our key team members in the I2R panel building workshop. As with all staff at I2R, we aim to develop our apprentices into well rounded community members, who appreciate our role as leaders in the local leaders. Jake is a confident player who holds his own when it comes to panel building and playing golf.
Jean Blans is one of up and coming I2R’s software programmers, specialising in Siemens & Schneider Automation, Automation Development and Diagnostics, Process Design, Documentation & Drawings. He completed most of his training in Europe, providing an experience that few engineers in Australia can boast. Jean also is strong in process design, in particular P&I Drawings and process maps. Jean is our French connection, providing a different cultural experience to our team.
Mark Nardi developed most of his base knowledge when working for JBS Australia at the Riverina Beef Abattoir plant. Since joining I2R Mark has gained experience in many different Automation processes in the food & beverage industry whilst working with all different kinds of automation hardware PLCs, VSDs, process instruments just to name a few. Mark’s strength is specialising in programming & development of complex PLC systems using Rockwell Automation PLC’s & developing SCADA systems with Schneider’s Citect/SCADA for new processes being installed or existing processes that are being altered, fault diagnosing over processes & hardware to project management. Over the past few years Mark has embedded himself as a key player in the local industry, as well as some of I2R’s broader customers such as PDP (Wicked Sister) in Sydney. His diverse skills have become an asset to I2R. Mark takes the time to fully understand the process and build the relationship with the customer that lasts a life time. Whether it is a new installation or an upgrade of an existing operation, Mark can fully project manage the entire process from quoting & engineering to installation & commissioning.
Matthew is our senior software programmer and his capacity to understand and articulate complex process descriptions, and then convert them into logic, puts him above his peers in the industry. His skills sets are broad with an expert understanding of all PLC software as well as SCADA platforms such as Citect, Ignition, ClearSCADA and Atvice. Matthew not only delivers on the backend database and server configuration, but is also very conscious of the operator interface and functionality of the system design. In every case, the needs of the end user are his greatest priority.
Sebastian has been with I2R for just over 6 months, after completing a gap year following high school. He is already an indispensable addition to the automation team, having quickly taken to multiple PLC & SCADA platforms. His skillset has resulted in him being a key resource in a number of large scale automation installation & upgrades within wineries, milk factories and feed mills. Sebastian is able to work through issues and come up with innovative and timely solutions.
Simon joined the business in 2016 in a business development role with the aim to rapidly and sustainably grow the business so that we can develop a much wider customer base. Simon has a broad range of management skills and I2R utilises these skills to take a holistic approach to finding solutions for our customers and providing support through building a strong business case to achieve the outcomes they desire. Simon has brought a new dynamic to the business that allows I2R to be more aggressive in the marketplace and take on larger and more complex projects.
Recruited as a graduate, Stephen is a testament to the staff development philosophy that I2R holds in high regard. Stephen was instrumental in the development of the high speed vision system for Calabria Family Wines and is now the key software programmer for our Leeton Shire Council projects. Stephen provides a well-rounded approach to programming specialising in Rockwell Automation Development, Automation Development and Diagnostics, SCADA Systems Development, Software Development and Network Deployment and Management. If you need cutting edge programming or just upgrading an existing process, Stephen can complete both with efficiency to improve our operation.
Tiz heads up our administration team, covering everything from job management to financial control. Along with the rest of her team, Tiz is fundamental to making everything operate smoothly at I2R, utilising her extensive experience working previously with dynamic high pressure building industry, to ensure all aspects of I2R operate as efficiently as possible. Tiz also heads up our procurement section, so is the go to person for VSD’s components, sensors and PLC’s. She has developed strong relationships with all our key suppliers and can source parts from all over the world. Tiziana is a key player in our management team and ensures our operations are managed to get the best out of our team and their capabilities.
