Our Automation Cadet Jack Hornbuckle has featured in the new #GrowOurOwn campaign for CUC Western.
At I2R Group, we take great pride in being part of the CUC Western Riverina, Grow Your Own campaign. We consider it a privilege to inspire young minds and unlock promising career opportunities in Automation while nurturing and retaining local talent.
Jack initially completed work experience with I2R, and he was looking at studying a Mechatronics Degree in Melbourne and initially thought he had to move away to do so!
Through our Automation Cadetship Program, Jack has been given the opportunity to work full-time at I2R in Griffith, with a designated 8 hours each week dedicated to supporting his study.
"Being able to work somewhere - using my degree - in a place I'm familiar with and have grown up in, it's really good for me."
This exceptional arrangement allows Jack to pursue a tertiary qualification while gaining valuable hands-on experience and getting paid. At I2R Group, we are steadfast in laying the groundwork for your future in automation!
